Technology plays a pivotal role in fostering student engagement. However, simply introducing tools is not enough; educators must strategically scale their use to maximize impact. This session explores how Artificial Intelligence (AI), Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and other emerging technologies can be leveraged to create inclusive, engaging, and personalized learning experiences. Participants will gain practical strategies for implementing scalable AI/tech solutions that enhance student interaction, motivation, and achievement across diverse learning environments.
The presenter will engage the audience with a live poll featuring five AI-powered tools—Padlet, Parlay, MagicSchool AI, BRISK, and Curipod. Based on the audience’s selections, the presenter will provide live demonstrations of the most requested tools.
Session Objectives By the end of this session, participants will be able to: Analyze the potential of AI-powered tools to enhance student engagement and improve learning outcomes.
Evaluate at least two AI-based tools from a learner’s perspective, focusing on engagement, accessibility, and personalization features.
Demonstrate the use of selected tools through hands-on activities that promote active learning and student participation.
Design a personalized learning goal that integrates AI tools into their instructional practice.
